About the Monterey / Pajaro Field Study
In early April 2019 my husband Don and I plus Don’s two sisters stayed for several days in Pajaro Dunes, a community in Watsonville, just north of Monterey on the Monterey Bay. We were looking for some relaxation and family time, as well as some birding and photography opportunities!
The weather was cloudy much of the time, but fairly auspicious for photography. In the area just around the townhouse where we stayed we could access both the dunes and beach area, as well as the surroundings of the Pajaro River, which flows south behind the townhouses and then empties into the Monterey Bay just south of our location.
I’ve broken the photos into four galleries, each represented by one of the photos on this page. Click on the caption below the photo to get to that gallery.
